Silverthorne area August 4-9

I will be in the Silverthorne area for the week of August 4th through the 9th. I will be making multiple runs all week. I would really like to get together with some of y'all on a couple of trails.

Tuesday August 5th - Swan River loop
Saturday August 9th - Mosquito Pass

Other trails I am looking at doing are Peak 10, Keystone Gulch, Argentine Pass, and Georgia Pass. If you would like to join me on one of these let me know and we can arrange what day to go.

Nobody? I really would like to meet up with some of you. Especially on Swan River.

I'd like to join you or at least 1 day, but don't know what day will work for me yet. I'd prefer to join you for Mosquito Pass over the Swan River loop.

Just read on another post that Mosquito Pass is still closed and may open early August. I may be cutting it close. I hope we'll be able to run it while I'm there.

Last I read even the Swan River loop was closed because of snow. Season is getting a late start out here this year. Even after heavy snow seasons, the first week of August is usually a safe bet at these trails being open.

It's 3 weeks and counting. I will be running trails all week. So, if you can't make Swan River or Mosquito Pass, post what day you can go and we'll run something.

Montezuma Rd is open to the public. And just in time. 2 weeks and counting. I will be doing Deer Creek/Sts John trails and maybe a couple of others around Montezuma.

I talked to the wife and we are in for Mosquito Pass on the 9th. I'll be checking in regularly to make sure everything is a go. Which direction where you going to run it? Leadville to Alma? As it gets a bit closer we can decide on a place to meet up.

Where will you be coming from? I'll be staying in Silverthorne. We can meet around 9 - 9:30 and get on the trail around 10:00. It should take 2 to 3 hours to get to Leadville.

I'm in for Mosquito Pass on August 9th. I will have a Jeep full of people and will need to pick up a friend at his property just off Mosquito Gulch road. 10:00 am at the trailhead on the Alma side will work perfectly for me. We want to head into Leadville for lunch at the Tennessee Pass Café then head back over to Alma.

Good deal. I was hoping someone knew of a good place to eat in Leadville.

Lunch in Leadville sounds good to me.
Still haven't heard from my kid yet but the wife and I are in as of right now.

Ok. I'm planning on doing trails definitely on Mon-Tues-Wed. Tuesday we'll do Deer Creek/Sts John. I have a thread for that one. And Mosquito Pass on Sat. I may do a short run on Fri morning.
