Couple weeks ago we had to rescue 2 guys at the bottom of the steep chute. Was all ice and they couldn't get back up. They ended up leaving there rig in there. The creek has bench ice covering the holes and you can't drive over them. Anyway have fun!

That doesn't sound fun at all. I will call the ranger station and see what they say about it. Thanks for the heads up

Heard from a friend this morning that lives up there. She said that most of the snow is gone and it should be good for a muddy run.

I don't know for sure Chad I haven't been back out there sense we did the rescue. I would stay to the left on the way in and go to the gate then turn right.....if the creeks are frozen at least you can get back out. Same if the chute is all ice, you can turn around. I was going to replace my pumkin covers Sat. but maybe I will pass and meet you guys.

The loaf and jug at the turn off ^^^ at 10. The trailhead is only a couple of miles north of that.
