Haha, I don't think its that she doesn't trust me, it's more that her idea of not very hard is just the complete opposite of mine. lol

Well, it is certainly not very hard. And running order will be speed freaks to the front so if you want to take it slow and easy stay to the back

New B

Hello Everyone,

First time poster here but have been watching threads for a while and you all seem to have a great time wheeling.

New to the Jeep world (5 months or so) and having a blast exploring what I dare to alone. Would like to catch some runs with y'all if you don't mind? This looks like a great trip on Sunday.

I think all try to join up with you all, if that's OK.

Conoco in Morrison @ 9:00 am.

See you there.

Hey I haven't been to slaughterhouse gulch before and was wondering if a somewhat stock TJ could do it? I don't have a lift or anything, but I have a winch.

I have a stock TJ as well. I didn't have any trouble the last time we went.

It is rated 3 on the low end and 5 on the high end but not sure how much snow is involved. This group is awesome so no need to worry.

Here is the link for the trail:

You'll be fine! All the more "difficult" parts are avoidable if needed

I think that in view of the number of people attending this run that I am going to suggest Twin Cone as an alternative for those who want to attempt it.

It's snowing pretty heavily up in Breckenridge. Not sure how much it will hit the trail.

According to the NWS the 285 corridor is only expected to get about an inch of accumulation. Shouldn't be a problem.

I really want to run both if possible. I am going to meet with the folks at Morison then run to to Loaf and Jug. we can see who all shows up then see who wants to run where. Its counter productive for those coming from Breck so we will see if they post up a preference. what do you think?
