Anywhere from 5"-10" depending on what area of town you live in. Here are some more photo's that have come in to our local news station this morning;

And most of it came down between 7:00 - 8:30 pm. It was crazy. Me and my JKUR were having fun though! "Get out of the way! Buy a Jeep!"

Gorgeous dogs you have there. I would love either a husky or a malamute.

This link will probably help a bit, it shows which ranger district is where, and gives numbers for each.

I went to the target lot right around the corner. On my way, I saw about a dozen vehicles at the world arena cutting it up. Where you a part of that crew?

I believe I was a bit earlier than that group. It was just me and a front wheel drive car tearing it up.

What part of town are you looking for? You can just head down to rampart road if you dont mind driving an hour or so each way. Good trails all through there.

Go to Buena Vista if your determined to wheel and be done with it. Your going to have to drive more than an hour though.

Ah, thought you said something about parker. Boulder is a bit of a drive to get to rampart since its down in the springs. I guess your closest options are around Bald mt with trails like Pennsylvania. Dont look rough, but could be fun with the snow.

Geez thats 6hours round trip! I rather do holy cross for that drive! lol
Anywho Snow makes easy trails super fun and adds more difficulty! Thing is I don't want to be fined for driving on a trail I'm not suppose to be on.

IF there's not a gate, it's open. Not many trails are "closed"... they're just not passable. Don't worry about a fine, worry about the cost of a recovery & the common sense aspect of it. All you have to do is call the FS offices in the link I gave you above & ask what's passable... they'll know.

Got some buddies that just did chinaman and carnage last weekend, said it was great. Holy cross isn't going to be passable right now.

Seems like the stuff down by C.S. is doable right now, but that's not much closer than BV either unfortunately. Some of the lower stuff around here is passable... but it's just driving on boring roads, then hitting big drifts you won't get through right now, kinda anticlimactic.

There's a book called fun treks that they sell at all the local 4x4 shops around here. Charles A. Wells is the author its an awesome book that lists almost every trail in southern Colorado. Welcome to Colorado Springs I am here also. Look forward to wheeling with ya.
