We're running Hackett Gulch & ??? Tomorrow.
Sat 28, 9:30 am
Leave 9:45 am
Meet at Roundhouse corner of Hwy 24 & 21st.
These are relatively easy trails...snow should make for a fun day.
Dress for Mtns and pack a lunch!
John, have you checked with the Forest Service on conditions over that way? That area has been hit pretty hard with snow in the last couple weeks and there has been no thawing up here.
I wish you luck Based on the snowfall up here I would have guessed 18 to 36 but whatever. Also drifting on Cedar Mountain Road can double that. Personally I wouldn't chance it but to each his own
Great day of snow wheeling! It was unreal what we made it through before we chained up. Once all 4 wheels were chained we were unstoppable! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAULvcqgrA4
Glad to know you all make it out in one piece I wouldn't haven't even considered it without full chains, which I don't have Gonna have to rectify that somewhere along the way.
Looks like less snow than I would've expected. Surely less that we have gotten.
Looks like you had fun.
