Snow Run Saturday 2/15/14

Looks like we're finally breaking out of these frigid temps and I'm really jones'n to get out and hit the trails. Anyone interested in a run on Saturday? Open to suggestions on which trail system but we obviously need to find one that has enough snow to make it fun without crossing the line into an all day winching party. I'm rolling in a JKUR with 35's, a 3-1/2 inch lift, and a winch so I'm coming prepared. Anyone else wanna get out and hit the trails on Saturday? Throw out some suggestions on which trails may be suitable for a fun snow run and we'll narrow it down to one and set up a time to meet up.

I can't go tomorrow, but I could possibly be up for a run on Sunday.

Sorry I missed you guys, caught your post a little too late in the game. Where'd you go and how was it. Still thinking about heading out tomorrow (Sunday).

We went to slaughterhouse gulch. Learned that my winch works! We didn't make it to terribly far in.

I can't think of anything closer that would be accessible except for rampart range, which I wouldn't be opposed to either.

Yeah, its a bittersweet winter. We need the snow and its awesome to see up there but it;s already been a long offseason and getting longer with every good snow we're getting. I've got cabin fever real bad myself.

Be thankful we don't live on the east coast. We've run out of work because Atlanta has been shut down. But I hear ya, this cold sucks. Been wanting to get out since we had our last run lol.

I didn't take any pics, but believe some of the other guys did. I was too busy running the winch. There were 5 rigs in our group.

wow, me and Tom tried running SHG a month ago and couldn't get in very far either. this trail is typically a great winter trail. Lots of snow this year. how far did you get in?

I've never run it before so not really familiar with the trail but would guess we got about 1/3 of the way.
