Some pics of the flooding the last couple days

Whats up everyone!

Not sure how many more of you were hit with any of the floods the last couple days but figured i'd post up a few pics from me and gf out and about.

Jeep was a champion and never missed a beat...

Here are some pics from the last couple days!

I'm in the "shallow" water...only entrance into my complex...the gray buildings are my neighbors and i'm across the street in the other neighboring complex. parking lot..my complex was never flooded. I was one of the only vehicles out lol

Heres a quick picture of expo park (where my girlfriend is standing) except about 40 feet closer on a nice day

Wow, that is a lot of rain and water. Hope you all dry out soon.

The majority of the water has receded...the complex next to me still has their covered parking under water but the majority of stuff is good to go.

Jeep did amazing though. Highest i had to go through was about 30-40" of water and at one point i was about to hit my hood and backed out of it (ended up going a couple miles away and going around it).

I lost power for about 2 days...finally got it back on last night at midnight

all in all i lucked out for sure...jeep is getting a wash and some stuff done today for how well it did lol.

I'm on duty as the Battalion Chief right now and we just had another storm pummel SE Aurora...water was shooting 5-6 feet out of a manhole cover. On another call a guy had so much water in his window well that it looked like a fish tank from the inside lol.

First time home since Thursday, I'm a FF in Milliken, we closed all roads leading out of town due to bridge conditions. Finally opened up a back road to get help in and out.

Will post up some pictures when I get a chance

Just got to drive the fiancés jetta through some pretty good flooding. Was a little scary. Here in Colorado Springs. Saw a couple stalled cars. Back yard flooding yet again.

Yea my wife and I are in SE Aurora and unfortunately spent the better part of the weekend sucking water out of the basement... We go on top of it early and probably will just have to replace the carpet but I think we averted any other major damage. Thankfully we didn't get hit as hard as others...

Still sorry that you have any damage. We definitely got the rain everyone had been hoping and praying for. Sucks its all at once.

Yep exactly, I would have been nicer if it were spread out a little Looking at it tonight all the drywall is in good shape we'll wait a day or two and then clean the carpets and see how things look, but we've been wanting to switch from carpet to tile/laminate since we moved in so this is just pushing us to do it rather than waiting which isn't horrible...

Here's a video I shot when I attempted to go to work on Thursday. I live in Frederick/Firestone; this was just 1-2 blocks from my development in No Name Creek. This portion of the road is now washed out and closed. We lost water and electricity a few times, and are currently under a boil advisory, but overall we're very thankful for our lucky outcome. I'm back to work in Longmont today.

Stay safe, everybody! Let's hope that the worst is over, and your state can begin to rebuild.

That looks all too familiar! I work at Colorado Chrysler Jeep. Our intersection at Alameda looked like a full blown river with class 4 rapids. Wonder if Red Lobster is open yet,
