My rig is useless in 4hi. 2wd until the hard stuff starts, then it is 4lo all the way thru.

Can you stall on level ground in 4low? Just letting in the clutch?

doesn't seem like it how? These jks don't have small blocks in them. On some of these steep hills climbing if I lose traction and the bld kicks in it robs all of my power and I pretty much have to push in the clutch and roll back down. That's mostly due to my gearing and the sport 2.72:1 tc.

Mine will crawl at idle on level or a slight uphill.

I actually got out a couple times while it was driving trying to pinpoint that clutch noise at the top of SC.

You guys would be amazed what a difference the better pedal makes in how it works... I actually was really unhappy with my JK before I did that, it was a night & day difference in how smooth I could drive it.

5.13's go in on friday... that should make it even smoother!

Unless I'm somewhere that's as flat as kansas, I have to FLOOD the gas to get it to even move in 4hi. I just throw it in 4lo as soon as I hit the trail as it still has speed like you said and it won't drive me crazy trying to keep it going like in 4hi

mine will crawl on flat ground without hitting the gas in 4lo and I've only stalled on hills when I didn't give it enough, like on china wall but i'm not geared as low as you are either
