I think I will tag along with this one too... I ran the first obstacle a couple weeks ago, but then lost the trail at some point, so I'd like to see how the rest of the trail is. If we don't have a huge turn out, some of my non-Jeep friends may want to run it too, so long as no one else minds.

Don't mind at all. Assuming their rigs are equipped to handle the trail.

Thanks for the heads up. They should post up on colorado4x4.org to give everyone else notice. That's the site I usually refer to before planning a run.

Think you'll get through without three-wheeling? What shocks did you get, Justin? Something a bit longer?

Traded all 4 out under warranty, got the rc shocks for 3.25 lift instead of 2.5. Now just need to add a tiny bit of bumpstop in the rear. Like. 75

Nice, we'll have to have another flex-off and compare. I'm really looking forward to this run as well... been on a kick for these tougher trails to test my limits.

I hope it's open. I had to turn around just after the first obstacle, the rest was snowed in. Bummed me out.

You got an address for BK? Coming from Colorado Springs is there a gas station close by?

Take i70 west to the downieville exit. The burger king is actually closed, but there is a Conoco and a Starbucks on the same exit. The bk is just off the exit, so you'll see it.

Family emergencies are pretty rare, but seem to work better than calling in sick... you might have one tomorrow, just saying.

John,
You better specify if you are meeting at 7:30 Mountain or Pacific. Last time I ran with you I screwed up and thought that you meant Mountain, but didn't realize Chinaman was in Pacific time zone!!!
