steering wheel thump

My 2010 JKU has developed a thump sound and feel when I turn the steering wheel approx. 12 inches to either side while sitting. I can hear it and feel it in the steering wheel, feet and ass. I've also noticed fluid on the stabalizer bar and surrounding area but no drips on the ground. What is this and does anyone recommend a trustworthy shop to look at this and correct this issue.
Hope everyone had a great New Year.

I found out my loud thump was coming from a broken tooth in the rear axle gearing. Don't feel it at all unless I'm turning.

I think I narrowed it down to the tie rod bushings...worn out. Do they sell just the bushings or do I have to buy the whole rod?

Does it feel like it is sticking a bit? If so, make sure your various steering components are not rubbing. I had a problem with my stabilizer rubbing against the track bar.

No sticking and I can't see where anything is rubbing. I can however grab the tie rod and twist it as if the bushings are worn out. I'm taking it to the dealer next week.... It should be under my extended warranty. That and the power steering pump replacement.
