still new to this, where are good places?

Hello Everyone! We have done a couple trails and some dispersed camping since getting our jeep. We would like to do more, but do not necessarily know the capabilities of the Jeep or ourselves yet. Any advice? Is it good to join group run, we thought this may be fun and educational. Any advise would be AWESOME!

Thanks,

Wade

Welcome to the forum. Check out traildamage.com. Also, keep checking this forum, there is always someone getting a run together.

Just don't take the trail on the left. Sorry, just a little joke from last weekend.

But seriously, this is where me and my wife started and I couldn't speak highly enough of the other guys/gals on this forum. You might end up on trails you think are too tough, but you will know that you have people in your group to get you out of any sticky situation. Honestly, there's no quicker way to learn to trust your jeep, and yourself.

Heck, I've had Chuck jump in my jeep and show me why I was having problems getting into 4 low my first time out. If they let a dummy like me tag along, they'll let anyone tag along!

I'd keep my eye on the forum and then reference any proposed trail run with the ratings on traildamage.com. People do everything from really hard, to family fun runs.

Thanks everyone, I did not expect responses so fast! Trail damage is an awesome site.
