Yes but ensure its a quick drive home. I really wore my tires aired doen going 50 mph for 30 minutes.

Really...? I check my tread depth kind of a lot and I haven't noticed uneven wear. Maybe since my TJ is lighter?

I go down to 12 on my rims and when I'm lazy don't air back up. I usually cruise 80+ on the way home on i70. All is good and well for me...but I don't DD the heep.

Question Progress but not complete...

Well, here is the progress on the overhead console & CB install. The overhead console and CB are installed, everything is complete, but I have to have a antenna mount fabricated for the AEV tire mount. I don't want the antenna on the side of my rig; I would really like to see it mounted on the back. I have the spare gas tank in between the spare tire & the door. I also have the HiLift Jack and Pull Pal back there as well.

Does anyone have this set-up with the antenna installed on the back? If so, where and how did you install it? Did you run into any tuning problems? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yea... I also have to decide where to hang the CB microphone. I don't like the way the one that came with the unit feels, so I am thinking about the Cobra HG M84- Premium https://www.cobra.com/detail/hg-m84-...microphone.cfm I like the right sided push to talk feature.

I would be interested to hear the opinion of anyone that may have it.

My greatest find...

I have been wanting one of these from day one and I finally snagged one from the local surplus store. Funny thing is, I was out walking and decided to stop by the surplus store when I found it... I ended up walking two miles before catching a ride home. Needless to say she has a special place in the Dozer Dame; the ammo can that is.

The Gulches... Hacket, Longwater, & Metberry

Made it back out to the Gulches yesterday (12/24)... We completed Hacket, Longwater, & Metberry. Hacket was the last one and it was snowing pretty good by the time we were on our way out; enough that our tracks coming in were covered by the time we came out. So much fun!

This is only half way done, but it has saved me $934. - I was looking at a rear storage box for $999., but instead I purchased the black box (perfect fit) for $50. at Home Depot and the ammo can for $15. at an army surplus store. I am going to install some eye hooks to the top of the lid in order to strap in a cooler. Added bonus, it doesn't block the sub and because of the angle on the back seat, I have three sleeping bags in stuff sacks behind the black box. There is additional room behind the wheel wells also. The only draw back to this mod is when I need to open the lid all the way, I have to remove the ammo can or I have to reach up and lean the back seats forward about three inches... then I can lift the lid all the way open. I usually do the latter.

Rancho Doors & SpiderWebShade

I just installed the new Rancho tube doors and the SpiderWebShade. I also purchased the SpiderWeb Cargo Shade to go on the back, but it wont fit with my PowerTank.

Sorry guys... As soon as I took the top and doors off, Spring turned back to winter ... I am doing my best not to put them back on as it is Spring and I am fighting against winter with everything in my power.

Great thread !!!

Now I know why I can't find mods up here in Denver for my '13 Dozer. They're all down in the Springs on your rig....

Ejs 2013

A great bunch of guys that we were fortunate enough to meet and run with during EJS! I know they are from a different forum, but when we found ourselves out on the trail alone in Moab they were kind enough to let us run with them. Good times!

Ouray was good, but I cracked my frame. The Dozer Dame is at the body shop getting a new frame amongst other work. I cracked the frame (which can not be welded), snapped the welds off of both control arms, bent a control arm and sway bar... and the list is still being figured out. Crazy huh? Not having my Jeep really makes me understand how much of a passion it is of mine. We miss everyone and can't wait to get back out with everyone! Hope to see you soon!

Well, the new frame has finally arrived and the tear down has begun. Hoping for a speedy recovery; I have been down since the Set Them Free event. Please set me free and let me get back in the mix!

I'm curious to know what the finish is on the Bushwacker Bug Deflector.

Is it more of a matte or satin or gloss black? Is it painted or just the plastic ABS looking colour?

I have a black jeep, and I would like the dug deflector to match the paint....might want to paint it...

thanks in advance!
