Talking The official "No Topic Thread"

So it's been a while and I saw two threads in the CO section that were closed because of it being derailed or because there was to be no more arguing. So I started this thread in hopes that since it has no topic, you can't get off topic. This can be the place to BS about wine (from a box or bottle), and any other miscellaneous stuff.

So today I checked out the Tejon St Bike Fest and I must say it was a let down. Less than half the people from last year, half the vendors, it was HOT, and there were some fugly people there. Being there I must say was almost like viewing the people of Walmart page online.

I start clearing from the military on Wednesday. So I'll probably be gone from the springs by September. I would like to go wheeling before I leave. I just need to put my front brake lines on and I'll be good. I really want to see how I fair with my 35"s

So I'm hoping that the fires will be put out before I leave. I have had my new brake lines for a couple of months now and haven't put them on. I really need to. The jeep has the clearance but not the gears. I hope it will do fine in the mountains. Anyone heard from John? I haven't seen him on the forum in a long while??? You doing ok out there Ed? I know the fire has made it to where we can't take 24 out that way.

I hope they get put out soon too. I saw John had posted on a thread not too long ago. It may have been on a thread that got deleted.

ID:	135484So yesterday, I just needed to drive around the Mtn's. I started in Sedalia and headed straight for the Platte(along with the rest of Denver). Took Platte River drive all the way around 'til I hit 126, near that old Conoco station. Drove past Buffalo Creek then headed West on 550 (Little Scraggy road). This road has some SPECTACULAR scenery. I saw a group of rocks in a Park area.....so yeah I climbed a few. I hiked them...what were you thinking? hmm. I drove onto Wellington Lake. Ate lunch there and stared at the Castle. Headed South towards Cheesman Reservoir(which is closed btw) on Stoney Pass rd. , picked up a mtn. biker. He needed to get back to WP, to see if the fire was near his house. He ended up being some kind of professional biker, who rides the complete Colorado Trail from Denver to Durango for fun. I decided to come back thru Wellington Lake and up to Bailey. Finished up eating dinner at that Tres Margaritas on 285 . And then.........back to reality.

Oh, I'm around, just trying to keep my stupid mouth shut so I don't get in any more trouble Yeah, the whole pass is shut down, we have two ways out, Denver or Canyon City. Course there are those fun little trails down the Rampart that we all love.

Been rough up here today. Temps in the 90's, smoke so thick you can hardly breathe. Lot of people teetering on the edge of panic because they haven't forgotten the Haymen fire. Very.bad.scene.

So I'm parked in the garage, working on a couple projects for my jeep. At this point I don't even want to go out into that tinderbox.

Hopefully this will all settle down so we can get out on some runs before you leave. Right now I'm just taking it one day at a time...

So whenever it's hot outside and I have driven my jeep for a few minutes, if I turn it off and go into a store and come back out and start it again it will start rough and seem like it doesnt want to stay running. If I give it gas it will run normally after that. Is this due to the fuel being hot? Bad compression? Any help is appr

No kidding, I took an extra detour in my jeep yesterday coming home from work just to enjoy the ac a bit longer, the swamper in my house just doesn't cut it on 100+ days.
