It's threaded, and it has to be adjustable somehow - I've only ever heard of the tie rod end being pressed in the knuckle, not the rod itself. Heat that SOB up and give 'er hell with a pipe wrench and it should break free.
Yea I had a pipe wrench with a 3' breaker bar attached to one side but couldn't get the leverage on the other side to break it loose, heat might be the tick. I do intend on upgrading in the future but hadn't planned on doing it right now. Thanks for the input!
I won't lie, mine was certainly seized pretty good, but after a good amount of heat, I broke mine free, and I'm not a big guy... I did still have it pressed into the knuckle, so I was able to just twist the center rod. Good luck!
