Tis the season

Fellow Jeepers,
Once again the weather has been very cold and our fellow humans who also happen to be homeless need our help.
Last year we did a "run" to support the Denver Rescue Mission in December. We really just collected donations for the shelter since most of the trails weren't accessible... met in the town of Morrison and enjoyed the company of our fellow Jeepers. We then drove down to the Denver Rescue Mission to give them our donations.
We know Santa had to be good to all of you since you are the best people in the world... Why not donate some of your coats, clothing, and maybe even some disposable items to help those less fortunate?

Denver Rescue Mission accepts donations of all kinds, including:

Food
Clothing
Shoes
Blankets
Hygiene items
Furniture
Household items

Also, since we have so many fellow Jeepers in Colorado Springs, perhaps there is a place to donate there? It would certainly not hurt my feelings if an organizer from the area set up a "run" for the southern area... Ahem... Justin? John? Brian?
We would love to meet somewhere in between, perhaps Castle Rock to gather and enjoy a meal and some spirits before we take our donations to the shelter.

Whose in???

I'd love to join but at the moment I'm limping the jeep... Old stage road would break me.

As far as stuff I'm about to move and when one moves! They get rid of the fluff. I've got fluff. And not just in the tummy or hair; which of course is magnificent.

Tl;dr
What's the date you need my stuff by? Also if it's just gonna be a meet up and eat can we please do it on a Sunday so I can join?

Awesome guys! We will see what date works out for everyone. Brian requested a Sunday but we have to be vigilant and not to interfere with the Bronco games

We are thinking January 26. It's the last Sunday of the month and also when the Pro Bowl is, so no missing out on Bronco football.

We can find a good meet up point for Colorado Springs and Metro area folks to gather. Any suggestions are welcome

Looking forward to seeing lots of Jeepers and getting some good donations!

We're also moving and have some items we can donate. The 26th works well for me. Was wondering if we were able to get a run going. What trails were you thinking? We'll gather a box of some sort

Hey Amy!

It may just be a meet n greet depending on weather, but if possible we will run a trail. We definitely are antsy pants at this point...

I'll keep this thread updated as the date draws near.

Where are you guys moving?

I've been counting down the months until we all can hit the trails. We're unfortunately going further east. It will be in the Dayton Triangle. So Parker Road and Havana.

I highly doubt the jeep will be in condition to run anything worse than a dirt road. We doing food somewhere? Since we are moving we got a lotta things.
