Rented one a few months ago to pick up the lastest jeep project. had a 1500 hemi prior.. no comparison to the big C towing.

Nice!! Chrysler automatics scare a little but great truck. Just out of curiosity was a manual transmission an available option?

Yes a manual was available at the sacrifice of 140ftlbs of torque. The new 68rfe transmission is leaps over the old 48re the used to be behind the cummins.

I am going to leave it stock for now, only because I have a ton of other projects that must come first. eventually I would like to do a carli suspension on it.
