Trail run Thursday July 17th

Thinking about running something on Thursday since the forecast shows a break in the rainy weather that day. Maybe Red Cone, as far as we can get on Wheeler Lake or Mosquito Pass, or possibly Bill Moore Lake or even Grizzly Lake. Never been to Grizzly before and I hear it's open, but it's a long drive from here. Anybody up for a run on one of those trails that day?

Cool. We can meet at the Conoco/Loaf N Jug at the intersection of Hwy 285 and Park Co 43A (There is a stop light there, between Pine Junction and Bailey before you drop down Crow Hill on Hwy 285 - it's the turn off you take for Slaughterhouse Gulch). How about around 9:30 am at the Conoco, which would get us to the trail head around 10:00 am?

Just chiming in.. If you can make it to grizzly lake, do so but plan to camp. It's simply that beautiful. It's not a trail I would do in one day.

I think I will be in for Red Cone on Thursday...got my rig back together but I need to identify some issues first. I think I might have a bad CPS but not sure yet. I will know more tomorrow and post up here if I become a definite. I also have another Jeeper that wants to come along as well.
