Trails for newbies ?

Sorry for the short intro. Thanks to all for the welcomes. I am working on updating my profile, so bare with me.
I am from Grand Junction CO. As I stated this is my first jeep as well as my dd. I am looking to meet some local people that go out and enjoy the Colorado company and would be willing to teach a "newbie" some of the ropes. I'm not looking for anything extreme but some sight seeing would be cool.

Hi.....I'm Denny welcome to the Denver side. I live in Bailey. Just watch the threads here and jump in when you see something that interests you. Someone will say Slaughterhouse this Saturday.....just say count me in and they will tell you where to meet. Bring your lunch, dogs, kids, gf or what ever. We have a lot of fun and you will meet some great people. We do pretty much easy stuff or you can sit and watch others.

Rick here, from Denver. This is technically my Junior year ( You'll progress as far as you can afford. I've learned a lot from these guys, like..damn.. I need bigger tires Hopefully you can make some runs with us, we mostly do front range stuff, but also around Idaho Springs stuff too.

I'd check out the Utah group as well. Your drive to Moab is probably close to what some of the members here drive for the weekend runs, and they are nowhere near as amazing as Moab. I just did my first trip there and can't wait to go back! I'm looking forward to running a lot of trails through summit county and the vail valley this summer as well as I live in Breckenridge.
