Waldorf Argentine pass may the 26th.

Was wondering if anyone else would be interested. Thinking of meeting at the rest area in George town at 10. This is a good trail for stock jeeps.

A little far out, but I'll keep an eye on my scheduled. Would love to go, if you don't mind a rookie tagging along.

corey, i did this trail last summer. i don't remember too many obstacles on it. there are some tight switchbacks but nothing too bad. if you or your girlfriend are afraid of heights this will be a good test of that fear. it's rated a 5 for cliffs and ledges on trail damage.

There's nothing I would call an obstacle on that trail.

I would like to get in on this run. I went up there last fall but could not make it to the top due to snow drifts.

The main road in is not difficult or technical at all but if you move over to the power line roads and a few other off shoots there is some pretty good roads.

Do you guys think this will be open to the top? I got the impression most high trail (12k+) can be hit or miss until July/August but correct me if I'm wrong.

Otherwise I'm definitely in.

It might be, its hard to say. But getting to the mines should be no problem. You might just not make it to the top of Argentine.

My son and I went up on the same day last year. There was snow across Argentine. We got to the Waldorf mine OK. I might go up and check it out on the 19th of may.

I'll probably be down for this run, assuming nothing else comes up that weekend! I've caught the bug...
