Wheeling Dec 12?

I have to get out and wheel. I am losing my mind. It's been almost 2 months. I don't care where we go, but lets go wheeling. The ollowing mods are getting done Tuesday the 11th, gotta put them to the test.

I am getting my Teraflex Steering and draglink flip kit.
| TeraFlex Suspensions

RockKrawler Tie Rod.
Rock Krawler Catalog

Bushwacker Fender Flares.
Jeep Flat Style Fender Flare Set of 4 : Amazon.com : Automotive

Bilstein Steering Stabilizer.

Bestop/Highrock Rear Bumper and Carrier
Bestop 42934-01 - HighRock 4x4™ Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited - Quadratec

Probably putting some spacers in the back too, to mitigate sag.

worst part? after I added it all up, I could have paid for my regear and locker.

If you guys decide on something around here (spring creek or red elephant are the only two that are harder) I could be convinced to come along if we could get a later start so that I can pretend to work a bit in the AM. My owner usually calls me at about 9:30... then I'm clear for while!

I think Jenny might be done for the year.

This was a side trail (how I usually get home from lower spring creek) near the turnoff to SC last night.

I slid to this spot from up on the road... the ice is getting sketchy.

It's snowing up on Rollins pass right now, I think the top of Jenny is likely not a great idea. (it'd be more fun in the summer anyhow)

Btw, for reference, this pic was taken about 50 yards to the left of the tree you can see at the left edge of this pic of you from the other weekend.

Normally that left is the easy way out... holy crap it sure wasn't this time.

eh maybe. I would wanna do that with at least 2-3 others and given this is a midweek run it's going to be hard to get people interested.

You'd be fine on eagle rock and saran wrap with one other. I didn't touch my lockers at all when I ran it in september and it was a bit wet and slick under the surface.

If it wasn't midweek I'd go too

I agree with John. Even if you can winch to the top of the last hill if there's been more snow since we were up there you probably couldn't get through the last 100 yards to get to Rollins Pass road. Plus the trail is so narrow at the beginning if you run into drifts you can't get through there is no way you can turn around to get back out.

I ran wheeler a month ago. I wouldn't recommend it. Ice and snow all over the trail, even the obstacles. I ended up in the vnotch and almost flopped because of the slick conditions. The trail goes near 11,000ft.

Hey Chris... Thanks for the invite! I have been watching and waiting to see, I don't want to get in over my head, but I am definitely interested.

I may have to back out. My install may have to take place over Tuesday and Wednesday instead of just Tuesday. I'm hoping not.

I'm trying. If I can go it wouldn't be until 12ish. I'll call my mechanic.
