It's always open. Good trail with good areas of play. I will be working on the Jeep this weekend so I'm out.

Its good in boulder, its wet snow but its gonna melt a way, heck when they said there was a "snow storm" that melted away before yesterday! Just got my REAL Jeep back to test it, its snow on top of ice is all.

It has some pretty good spots. Not extreme, but would recommend 33s and a bit of lift at least

10am at the trailhead. I'm leaving Highlands Ranch around 7:30am. PM me for phone number and we can setup a meeting place to convoy out to BV via US 285.

3-4 hours to run the trail (but really depends on the amount of time spent BS-ing). As for meeting place before the trail; there is a gas station/diner on the south side of 285 just past the turn off for the trail (right as you enter town). Good place to gas up, grab food, and meet for the run.

Went up to that area last weekend, did...correction tried to do FR379...drifts 3-4'. 100yds...2 hours winching just to find a place to turn a round... My guess Eagle rock and Saran Wrap were just as bad. Met guys coming down 379 said- they had broken two driveshafts...they also had turned around...just failed to tell us that part. :/.
