This old timer has seen snow in the Springs in June. It just stinks when we are Jeep owners and dying to rip off roofs and doors and get up to the trails. Well we do know snow can be fun too if there is enough of it.

Looks like I measured the crest in the front yard. Just measured the snow on the patio table, 9.25". I'd rather have the late snow then many more acres burning down again this year.

Snowing up here again! Knowing Colorado it'll be 90' next week! At least it's not boring here!

BV Jeep,
You have been around awhile in the Buena Vista area, so what does it look like in the area west of you that we like to Jeep in late July/early August? Is the current amount of snow in this area unusual for this time of year or something that you have seen before? In your local professional opinion, do you think that some of these trails will not open by late July?
