Yankee Hill 6-30-13

OK boys and girls,
Yankee Hill then over to Rollins Pass/JC on Sunday.
We will go to the top and see if the gates open or closed at Kingston Peak. If it's open we will run that instead of Rollins Pass/JC

10 AM at the Cemetery just west of Central City.
Be there or be Square.....No pun intended YJ'ers

Hey Chad, mind if I meet you at your place and follow you up? With my sense of direction I'll end up somewhere else

Not really familiar with Central City. Is the cemetery on hwy 119 west of town? Google Maps seems to indicate a few cemeteries west of town. "Masonic Cemetery" appears to be the one off of hwy 119.

From what I've seen on the maps: Go to Lawrence St and continue onto Eureka St where you'll pass the Opera House. Continue to follow the road and you'll see the cemetery.

Thanks. There appears to be about 6 cemeteries right in the area you describe. I think Eureka turns into Upper Apex, and the cemeteries are where that road intersects with Columbine Campground Rd. Will find out in a couple hours if I have my directions right!

You know, we didn't even look Dave. when we got to 383 we just went right down Mammoth Gulch to Rollinsville. It was already after 1430. and we decided to call it a day. everyone had things to do.
