Moving to St George looking for other jeepers

Hey all, I am moving from Virginia to St George in a couple weeks and was wondering if there are many Jeepers in that area? Also is there much for legal trails close to St George?

Welcome to Southern Utah. You will be happy with what you find here for off road fun. Not to mention Moab is not to far away either. Lots of jeepers around from mild preferences to major rock crawlers.
Utah 4x4 Club.

Welcome to the area, you'll be amazed at how much there is to explore. Good advise to look up Utah 4x4, also Dixie 4WD in St George is always hosting a run. Over in Kanab is the Canyon Country 4x4, they do some terrific runs, mostly scenic.

Thanks for the info. I registered with Utah 4X4 and looked up Dixie 4X4, and it looks like I will have some fun out there!

Yes it is! I made the move in December and have been loving exploring EVERYTHING! Haven't met any other Jeepers yet.

Most of the jeeps that I see are driven by soccer moms and have never seen dirt before, that just depresses me.

Maybe a few of us should go do something? I'm thinking of going down to the Gold Butte area on Saturday. Just drive, check out wildflowers, maybe the Tassi Ranch.

Sorry, I haven't been online in a while. I haven't noticed much interest from Utah jeepers on this forum, so I stopped logging in. I have done a little exploring with my family right around the SG area, but it would be great to get together with some other jeepers. PM me if you want to go hit the trails some time.

Jeep Forum is popular with the 4x4 crowd in Utah because a lot of guys are wheeling XJ's and other rigs besides Wranglers.
I've gone on some fun rides with groups on JF. Try there.
