Spontaneous Moab mini trip

Anyone at Moab tonight or tomorrow? I'm driving cross country and decided to make a detour. Looking to maybe explore tonight (probably not) or like a half day trip tomorrow for sure if anyone wants to meet up or let me tagalong.

Also if someone could give some basic info...never been here before. Being a national park are there any fees? Or operating hours? Not sure if I could just go find an easy trail right now or what the normal rules of engagement are.

Most of the trails are on BLM land outside the national parks...and snow-covered at this time. If you just want a quick, easy, spectacular drive, check out Hurrah Pass...and maybe go as far as Chicken Corners. Hurrah Pass can be done in 2-3 hours. Chicken Corners would take all day. With the snow, some of the slickrock trails are just too slick right now. Some jeepers went down a hill on Fins N Things a few days ago, and were unable to get back up the hill. They had to leave their jeep and hike out.

OMG! Did I just help a Raiders fan? Go Broncos!

I actually just did Fins and Things lol. Made all of it except for the very last climb on the final loop. It just didn't look safe enough to try it. Especially solo. Oh and one other descent had a bunch of ice on the 2nd to last loop that looked dangerous as well. Went down the other side and went as far as I could up the ice...didn't make it far
