One neat thing about Little Moab is that it's a collection of obstacles of varying difficulty. Any stock vehicle can tackle some of them, while certain obstacles should only be attempted by heavily modified rigs. You'll enjoy staying within your comfort level, and you can enjoy watching others in their built-up rigs doing more extreme things.

I'd be there in a heartbeat except I'll be at work.

Can't make it :(

I would love to go and finally meet some of you but with Obama tearing this country apart I have more work than I could possibly have imagined possible. I hope everyone has a good time, maybe next time.

Come on out Saturday. Even if you don't want to attempt any of the obstacles you can introduce yourself and talk to others. See what mods others have done to theirs that may or may not interest you. By talking with other Jeepers you may save yourself some time and/or money.

I think you would be surprised as even what a stock JK will do.

Mike.

Yes, the newer models are a little more driver friendly aren't they?

I agree with Mike, I also have a stock rig and will be "testing" the limits to see what I would like to add in the future. Also just a way to get out and meet some of the people I see driving around in all the jeeps I see everyday.

Yesterday turned out great. It was great to meet and talk with everyone plus it was great to get out and hit a few trails.

I heard a couple of people mention that we should schedule schedule some wrenching parties along with out trail rides so I was thinking we should schedule one for sometime in March.

So if you have something that you could use help with post it up and we can plan accordingly.

Awesome day on Saturday. Glad everyone made it.

Bumped into a few others from the forum at the Chevron afterwards who had run 5-mile earlier. It was great to meet you guys as well. Hope to see you around again.

Here are a few pictures from our Saturday's outing.

Here are a several that met for lunch @ Dickey's Bar-B-Que. There were a few others that showed up afterwards but like an idiot, I forgot to grab some pics.

Line of Jeeps heading out. This was a cool view seeing all these Jeeps turning off the pavement. I think total we had ten Jeeps.

Zach in his yellow CJ coming down off of the rock pile.

Justin climbing up a rock obstacle.

Dan climbing a rock obstacle.

I don't think there was any mud that Kevin didn't hit.

Anthony and his family having a good time.

Group gathered together just before heading home.

Jake and Zach and their wives taking a break. They found a nice sunny rock to relax on.

We had great weather, great friends, great new friends, all in all a great day to be a Jeep owner and meet other Jeep owners/fanatics. I look forward to seeing everyone at the next run and hope all who showed up will feel comfortable enough to come out again for the next one.

Mike.

Bored, thinking of ice fishing at Otter tomorrow.

Anyone going to EJS?

And is there another date for Little MOAB? I've never been and would have gone this time but had other obligations.

Thanks. We have a cat around here somewhere but everytime I see it I never have the good camera ready. Deer, elk, waterfowl, birds of prey and the ever so ubiquitous chipmunks are easy to see. Cats and coyotes hide. Reminds me I have to put in for my tags by the 4th.

I'm sick of the cold without snow. Ready for it to heat up to yank the doors and top off. EJS is calling me but I might wait a week or two for it to get warmer by a tad. Buddy of mine wants to go hit San Rafael swell in a couple of weeks but I'm trying to set $$s aside for my Lake Powell gas and liquor fund
