Here are some pictures from Saturday's trip out to Rattlesnake.

Mike.

Daryl50 and mrpotatohead stopped on the trail waiting for the group ahead of us to move forward.

Daryl entering the twisty section of the trail heading towards Wayne's World.

Daryl all crossed up.

My son's LJ.

My son's LJ flexed out.

Me entering the rock garden.

More rock garden.

Yep, right across from the Harrisville Walmart on Washington blvd.
Moved from Florida 5 months ago, so not real familiar with a lot of places to go, but always willing to explore.
I'm a member of the Wasatch Outlaw Wheelers. Nice bunch. Went on one trip with them. But they shut it down during the winter
A forum member here had told me that JeepForum is popular with Utah wheelers. I just did a run with a great group of guys from JF last week and had a real good time. There's a few other wheeling opportunities that I will be joining up for in Jan and Feb with the JF Jeepers.
Pm me any time! we can hook up for a beer or there's a few easy trail rides that I know of around here we could do.
WF is a great forum, But definitely get on JeepForum for Utah happenings.
Mike (Zmotorsports) as you can see above will usually post rides that he's involved with here on WF, other than that it's slim pickins.

I agree with the JF for Utah activities ( I'm in Kearns Utah and usually post trips on JF in the Utah section I also spend 90% of the time there since in a mod over there ). I know someone on JF is setting up a snow run up 5mile pass on Sat. There is a run on sat Jan 4th And January 1st a bunch of us will be going with dirt heads.

Yeah, I'll see you at the Jan 4th run, I think that's 5 mile too.
Also going on the winter desert run on Feb 22.
What's the Jan 1st run. Is it open to anyone?

I won't be going on the 4th since I work

The New Year's Day run is a annual even dirt heads offroad club goes on. Anyone is welcome. I missed it last year and went to little Moab instead. But it's a fun trip with dirt heads you can watch people try Wayne's world for hours.

Welcome back to the Utah. I am a member of ForbiddenJeeps.com and we have a pretty good group of people in Northern Utah. The pictures above were from one of our runs down to the snakes. RME is also a good group of people with maybe a little more activity than the Forbidden Jeeps group but it is all vehicles, not Jeep specific.

Mike.

Accidentally hit the send button...

... Spend more than I expected on gas driving down to Death Valley, otherwise I'm so itchy to go.

Any of you have a 2 dr silver rubi and lives in the Heber area? Saw one in the Walmart parking lot around 5:30 pm tonight and dang was she ever a beauty!!! Sorry but had to take a picture of your back end and front end (no license plate picture though) so I could show my hubby how awesome your build is.

Sticker on it said Utah Jeep Crew. There were more stickers but that is the one I hooked my eyes on right away. Now just how do I get hold of you guys and join the crew????

Utah jeep crew is on Jeepforum. They have a Facebook group also. They are trying to make it a legitimate club now with a membership fee you have to attend 2 events quarterly. Weather it's a meeting or wheeling trip. They also have to vote you in and I have a little chip on my shoulder with the vp's best friend so I probably wouldn't get voted in , I wanted to join but I am too busy to attend the requirements anyway but I know majority of the guys in it. So I'll still wheel with them. Post a pic if the JK I could tell ya who's it is. It was probably Eric or Brady's.

I sent in a request to the facebook page and never heard back. I just want to go wheeling! I hate political crap. I figured a group was the best way to start meeting people. Will post a picture tonight - have to run to work now.

They are having 2 groups the ujc club and the ujc group from what I've read. I know some people are talking about wheeling on the 15th.

@Janice, check out Forbiddenjeeps.com. We have a Utah chapter that is fairly active and they're a great bunch of people!

Been swamped with work and still waiting on approval to get my new front bumper and winch from the hubby. I so want to go off road but not ready yet with recovery gear and so it might be another couple of months. The hard thing also is that I work 6 days a week. My only time off are Saturday afternoons and Sunday after 1 pm. Most people probably go out on Saturday morning - that would take advance planning so that I can get the day off.

I know there are guys going out on Monday but I have to work. No holiday for me. Horses don't quite understand the term holiday and they are quite demanding on ones time. Grrrrrrr. But you got to love them!

I just had a constrictor run last Saturday, with Salty Rock Krawlers.

But I'm always up for bountiful.

I'm not familiar with Bountiful but I'd be willing to check it out next weekend if I can get my new CA joints in.
