Air Intake Systems...

I am new to the forum...just bought a Jeep Wrangler '08. Does anyone have suggestions on a cold air intake system? I am thinking of buying one, but want to find the best & easiest to instal. Also curious to hear if they really work...

Yea, I hear good reports, but I wouldn't pay the price for them. You can make one pretty cheap, it's been on my list for a while.

Cold Air Intake...

Does anyone know if these cold air intake systems void warranties or make the vehicle not pass DEQ?

Cold air systems are all about the same, performance and ease of install. Yes they help a little. Enough you will notice but not enough to say WOW. Installing it early in the life of the vehcile is best to get a good return on your dollar.

Warranty?? Don't know. Won't think so but ask your dealer.

Pass DEQ. Should not have a problem. The mass flow sensor and the computer chip will make any adjustments needed because of the cooler air.

Are you ready to take your new Jeep out on the trails? Or does your Jeep just stays on the pavement?
