Anyone Alive in REDMOND ?????

Hello Redmond ! My wife has a seminar to attend at Eagle Crest so we decided to take the Jeep....
(I have a tow Houser attached to the Bow of the Exon Valdez, so hopefully I;ll have enough oil to get that far.... )
I plan to do a little exploring while she's bored in these meetings.
Also, is there a good place in town for a nice big thick steak ???
Should be there on the 29th.... Thanks ! BH

Cline Butte is right there. Head towards Sisters and take a left on Barr road. Brickhouse is suppose to be good for steak but have not been there.

Thanks ! I just got back. We put over 600 miles on the Jeep round trip . I played around Barr Road (South Side of the highway) for most of the day on Monday , then drove up the North side of the Highway to the Corner, looked over the rim rock to the Ranch below, had a big heard of deer feeding . Then drove around a bit more. Nothin too challenging there, but I didn't want to break it that far from home.
Never did get my Steak....Dammit.
614 miles and I only used 1/2 Quart Oil !! Not good, but better than It was ! "BH"

Ohhhhh, I almost forgot the most IMPORTANT part of the trip........

OK, Going over I waved at 8 ( I counted) Jeep JKU's..... Not one back !! ( wife says, "I don't think these guys are on the same forum as you are..." )
I did get one guy to give me the one finger in Redmond by the Rays grocery store on 26 .... He had a dark colored ( PLUMB ? ) JKU ... No,No, not the "bad finger" just a one finger over the wheel...

I did get a wave buy a guy a couple weeks back....He kinda acted like he'd just made a mistake.....He was a Rubi Snob too, but I waved back..
