Browns camp for newbie.

Looking to see if anyone is interested in getting together maybe sometime this month weekend to browns camp and try some trails including fire brake , ceader tree and university power trails. This is for newbie or stock jeeps. I have been on most of the trails myself and want to try fire brake this time. It will be nice to meet others to join and tackle the trails.

I need to get off-road! I travel a lot for work and every once in a while it does the soul good to see the woods where mini-vans can't go! Pick a date!

What about April 26TH its a Saturday ?. We all can meet early and be done by 2pm or 3pm. I will be bringing my family also. So all welcome to join. Even the experienced jeepers can join and do the mild trails. I have a wench on my jeep and portable air pump to air down and up tires. Lets have fun rain or shine.

Can't make any promises but I will try and get that day off. I have yet to go out there so taking some easy trails would be awesome.

Nice , so we have some people interested. For those who are interested in going put this in your calendar. It will be fun to see what our jeeps can do even the stock one's without damaging our daily drivers.

Lets meet up at 9am and we will leav at 9:20am. Shell gas station on hwy 6. Its only few miles to Browns camp from here. So if you are going westbound on hwy 26 take highway 6 towards Tillamook for people who never been to Browns camp. The Shell gas station is on your left approx 10 miles give or take. They have big gravel parking lot to meet up. Good place to fill up on gas or the Chevron in Banks just after highway 26 splits into highway 6. See you all then. I will update and post to remind you all as time gets closer. I'm getting my ACE rock rails delivered this weekend. Ill have try it out then.

I'll see if my son wants to join us as well. He is the new owner of a '97 F-150 and he might like to dirty it up as well.

I'm still trying to get the day off. Depends on how the next couple of days go. If I get it off, I will definitely be coming.

The weather is getting warmer! And the date is comming closer to hit the trials. Lets get consensus what time everyone want to meet? 8am or 9am. Then we will all agree on what time best work out for all of us. See you then. Im getting my bikini top ready for the summer.

I think I will be able to make this run! Whatever time is fine with me! I live about ten minutes from that Shell station. Was up there today, great conditions, not too dusty. Ran Powerline 4C and some of Cedar Tree.

You guys up for another to join? I might be able to tag along. I wouldn't mind a mellow off-road session.

Now, I see my confusion... I thought for some reason that this thread was referring to the newbie run that occurred this last Saturday (heard about it at the Pizza meet-up in Beaverton). Still looking forward to making this run.

Running CB or 2M?
