For anyone who might not have one yet, you will need an ATV permit. Info can be found here:

State of Oregon: Oregon Parks and Recreation Department: ATVs

If you don't get one before the run, you can get one at Gales Creek Shell Station, which is on the way.

Also, you need at least a 2 lb dry chemical type fire extinguisher in your vehicle.

as for time i am thinking around 830-900 on sunday the 29th in north plains, at the chevron

let me know if you are interested, we can make the run as easy or hard as need be based on skill, so no biggie anyone is welcolme
is you jeep stock, any rock sliders or anything?
does your jk have lockers? just curious

feel free to ask questions. their are a lot of knowledgeable people in the forum about jeeps, and trails
stock wrangler, no locker, no winch. I want to try the easy / moderate trail if you are going there.

Hi, Thio, it was good to meet you this past Sunday on our Bates Trail clean-up. Your jeep should have no problem with the trails we are talking about. How is your wrist doing? Will it be ready for the 29th?

It is about an hour west of portland on hwy 6 located in the tillamook state forest. The trail range from easy to difficult some do require lifts and bigger tires and lockers but the trails we will be doing a stock jeep can do with a good spotter to help arou d some rocks. Most of the trails are more or less rock crawling IMO. Not much for mudding. Yoh are more then welcome to koin us and check it out we will be doing the easier trails.

OPEN RUN... Gotta' love this one.. I'm there for sure now. I should bring the Jeep, unless I don't get it done by then. If not I'll bring my FS Bronco on 35's. I'm in either way.. Like a few others here,
Thanks for calling it open! :-)

Wish I was going to be here. But the Rubicon should be fun, lol.

O haven't been in TSF while its dry since the Jeep was stock. I really wanna get back out there. Once I'm back from Cali I'll help Tom put a new lift on his Jeep then I'm sure we'll plan another trip.

Hi Shewoolf, any chance you and your hubby will be on this run? I believe my better half will be in Montuckey that weekend but the dawgs and I would love to get out.

For those who are not familiar, "stick in the nose" is a MC trail recently opened to class II vehicles this year. It is a blue trail, rated moderate. Here's a vid of me going up the rock crawl technical section.
