for the trails its up in the air till i know what/who is going, jeep/driver level if we have more stockish jeeps or newer drivers we can stick to the easier trail. but i am thinking power line, ceder tree, firebrake, maybe the hill part of hogs back. these trails are on the easier side and their are areas to drive around harder areas also

as for time i am thinking around 830-900 on sunday the 29th in north plains, at the chevron

let me know if you are interested, we can make the run as easy or hard as need be based on skill, so no biggie anyone is welcolme
is you jeep stock, any rock sliders or anything?
does your jk have lockers? just curious

feel free to ask questions. their are a lot of knowledgeable people in the forum about jeeps, and trails

Awesome I can't 100% commit to it as of today but I would live to come and ride.
My jeep is a jku with 33 inch duratracks and 2.5 spacer and shocks lift
No sliders and no lock outs
At least as far as I know it's a Sahara that came with a side step but I know that is not protection

i'm not bias, its open to anyone who wants to come, we can stick to the easier trails with less big rocks, maybe ceder tree, power line, fire power, hogs back hill.

i do want to check out stick in the nose and truck dent. i don't know much about them

i'm not sure on the width capabilties on the fj, might determine some of the trails, not sure never seen one wheel lol. i know they are capable, trails can be narrow, but should be fine and we can adjust if need be, i am open to anything i just enjoy trail driving

alright how far are the runs from the meeting place in north plains? And how long does the trail riding take? Shouls i bring lunch? LOL? Is there alot of mud and water or can I come with doors off without worrying about three days of detailing? I know its a jeep but I keep all my rigs clean!

#30 ·
its about 30 to 45 min from the meeting place in north plains, air down when we get their, probably be done around 2 or 3. latest 4 lol really depends on what we do.
i would recommend bringing lunch. keep an eye on weather forcast for the door stuff, not alot of mud more dust and rock. can drive slow if we find any

Scooby, tell me about Browns camp, how far south of portland is it, what are the trails rated at etc. I'm up by olyville wouldn't mind doing some Oregon wheeling.

It is about an hour west of portland on hwy 6 located in the tillamook state forest. The trail range from easy to difficult some do require lifts and bigger tires and lockers but the trails we will be doing a stock jeep can do with a good spotter to help arou d some rocks. Most of the trails are more or less rock crawling IMO. Not much for mudding. Yoh are more then welcome to koin us and check it out we will be doing the easier trails.
