I have a tuner, and tuned mine. It works! LOL!

From what I herd. Understand.

I had a firestick I was way to high on the swr. As soon as I put a whip on I was at 1.5 . And there's no adjusting the whips. So if I was Gounod buy a whip antenna

If the whip is not right then you have to cut it down physically to adjust the vswr. The firesticks have a screw to adjust on the top. Personally I would get a Wilson.
