Question CB Recommendations?

Well I'm looking to add a CB to my jeep. I'm looking for small, reliable and not junk. I see the 1 or 2 in Quadratec and 4wheel-parts, but are there better ones out there that price-range?

Thanks!

Thumbs up Uniden Pro 510XL

From my personal experience,
The most reliable small chassis cb, bang for your buck is the
Uniden Pro510XL, hands down.
I have owned and used three of these since the mid nineties (I still use 2 of 3 units, I sold the other in another rig) with great success.
These cb's were and probably still are the loggers choice in their personal rigs for a "cheap" reliable cb that could also recieve and send quite well in the steep woods of the Tillamook state forest while still taking a beating on the logging roads.
The first Uniden I bought in Garibaldi, Or many years ago and was told that exact same thing by an old timer shop in town. The Pro520XL is a great unit to own as well. Here's a great place to buy one on the tag line below. Good Luck

I am a lic. ham operator I have messed around with cbs for a few years now I think the old school cobra 25s are great.
Any local cb shop can peak and tune these radios for superior performance they are what we call audio monsters check e-bay usally great deals on there

x2 on the Uniden Pro 510XL. Here's a link to a kit that has everything you would need, and is nicely packaged for a Jeep Wrangler.

Uniden Pro510XL Off-Road CB Package - $119.95
