Day after Christmas TSF Run

Looking to do a day after Christmas run up at TSF. Planning on a laid back run doing the power line trails up to FB5 and turning around and running it backwards. I want to play on the rock garden on FB5 and upper crusher. Those are optional.

Was up there up until about an hour ago. About 1.5 feet of snow up there and pretty slick. If a blue toyota is up powlerline 4c you might want to pull him out lol. After I tried to get him out and busted my winch cabel fml. we were there for about five hours.

But have a question, will airing down in snow help with traction? I have heard yes and no.

I'm all for airing down, especially on snow. I usually go 8-10 psi in my KM2s in the snow.

Sold the 37 12.50 17R MT/R's with Kevlar and now I'm running old school MT/R's 37 12.50 16.5R so I got double bead lock.

Hard to balance and very heavy. 150lbs per corner. They well tear a stock Dana 30 up. Wouldn't recommended for a DD. I go through hubs every 5-6 months.

Just something with snow...and some technical areas that can be tried or skirted. Looks like there is an Estacada run scheduled Sun... But wondering if that's enough adventure (sorry). I've never been that way, so someone might have to fill me in.

Actually looks like Sunday will be the best time for me... my dishwasher has called my name for repair. Are you up for Sunday? What areas are you familiar with.

I'm in Sunday but I'm not familiar with the area either, the gang going is great at hitting spots that are both technical and novice.

Let's do that. They're meeting at 10:30 at the Subway in Estacada. Shoot me your cell # and I'll text you the info I have

I'm leaning towards TSF since I'm more familiar with the area and it's my first try at the snow.
