Firearm and hunting enthusiasts

GOA ( Gun Owners of America ) has just released their report card on how our local politicians have voted on 2nd amendment issues. Check it out and consider how they rated when you hit the polls this fall.

No, Oregon isn't exactly a friendly place for us, but that's mostly because Multnomah and parts of Lane county ( Eugene ) have the majority of the population that votes a certain way. I've been more proactive about getting new people out there shooting and encouraging them to write an occasional email to their senators and representatives. A lot of the same people that don't like off road vehicles don't like firearms or hunting too much either.

It's a shame that we need to spend so much time lobbying so we can continue to enjoy our hobbies, but thanks to a lot of folks like you, that served our country, we can get involved and make our voices heard without fear of being shot or locked up.
