Jeeping/Overland in NE Oregon?

Hey everyone -

My wife and I are looking to explore NE Oregon this weekend...looking to run alone, so we don't want anything too crazy.

But are there any good forest roads than can get us off the beaten path??? Any ideas?

Many thanks

Several years ago we ran a part of this (just outside of Unity to just outside of Seneca)--Route 5, Section 3. Did it in one day, stock 2008 JKU Sahara (with Rubi take off wheels and tires). No issues--a few areas that felt like you needed to be in a Jeep, but nothing scary. We ran alone. Only issues we had were: 1) one downed tree (take a chain saw), and one forest service crew vehicle blocking a road (they moved it, a bit shocked to see someone else).
