Keepin the peace.

The difference between sport and combat is that in combat you bury the one who comes in second.

I picked up two books which look like a good intro: Oregon Byways (Art Bernstein; Wilderness Press) and Back Country Adventures: Northern California (Peter Massey and Jeanne Wilson; Swagman Publishing). Now if I just get my transmission replaced in a timely fashion, I could head out...

Anyone else have any good jeep trail reference books? I'm not particularly in to the extreme off road adventures, just the kinds of trails where you wouldn't take a car because of mud, clearance, "scratch and dent" issues.

Medford here. If I can ever get a day off work, I want to go find some trails to run. Know of any good spots to go?
