Picture of my 2 week old JKU. Didn't see any other Gecko's around in previous posts so I guess I'm first.

Only have tires, rims, and 3.25" lift so far. Currently working on an exoskeleton, rear bumper, and rockers next.

I have those same rims on Duratrac 35s.

I ended up taking those plastic center caps off and LOVE them without...

Getting new wheels and tires next month.

Probably going with Goodyear Duratrac 265/75 16 and one of these three wheels, Micky Thompson Black Classic II alloy, Black Rock Type 8 Series 997 steel, Pro Comp Series 7089 Wheel - Cast Blast, any suggestions?

Can't help you on the wheels, but the Duratracs are definitely a good choice

he-llll-oooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's exactly what i was looking for!
taking 217 North from I-5 every morning @ 6:55am - 7:10am and going back @ 4-ish pm 5 days a week.
here's a few pix to help you recognize us (my Jeep and I)
BTW, i'm new to this... is there an official "greeting sign" when passing another Jeep on the road. i've seen everything from 1 finger salute to 3, 4 and a high/low fives...
just want to make sure not to offend any of my JEEP family members by "flashing" something that could mean anything other than a "greetings" sign...
here we are... '12 sahara

i felt sad this last weekend. i went to Coos Bay in my 2012 Gecko Unlimited that i've had for less than 2 months. Running around in the sand and on the dunes. After catching crab and clamming all weekend we had to run in to Safeway to grab some ice.......

Next to me was a nice and shiny 2010 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara that looked like it had never been offroad while I parked my 2 month old 2012 that was covered in sand and seaweed next to it......

I feel sorry for all the Jeeps out there that get so close to good times but only get to go to look shiny in the Safeway parking lot. We should make a commercial with Sarah McLaughlin playing sad music and asking for 60 cents a day to save a Jeep from lack of 4 wheeling.

BTW: Refuse2age that's a nice Wrangler good pics

For dunes there is Sand lake and Florence. for flat nice drive, Fort Stevens has a drive on beach.

For mud and such you will have to wait for the rains to come back LOL

But we spend a lot of time in the Tillamook State forest in the Browns camp Area playing on the OHV trails.

I posted a bunch of Links in this thread

Siffriver's flexy 4 door. A 40" tire wasn't enough to flex it out fully so we had to put an oil change ramp at the opposite corner. Maxed out the front, but the rear still had more travel.
