It would be awesome to wheel with you guys . I haven't wheeled with Dave and Doris in quite a while. Unfortunately, I've already committed to a run on Saturday and Sunday will be family time.

I'll keep an eye out for future runs, as this season has just started .

I live outside Creswell,OR. Just got this YJ about a week ago. Took it for a little trail ride Monday and to a mud bog Tuesday. It does pretty good for just a little lift and 31's. I think a locker is gonna be coming by March and next year I will actually have a trailer for it and make it a designated toy hopefully. Reliable with SOA and 35s is my goal...

My Jeep used to look like this:

Then the e-brake failed at my property and it ran backwards into a tree - fast.

http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/my-2...er-205954.html

And it looked like this ...

which sucked.

The insurance company totalled it. I bought it back for way to much and fixed it sort of like this

Threw some money at it and now it looks like this:

and this

I am up north of Vancouver and with the bumble bee look pretty hard to miss

Black on yellow always looks good on a Jeep IMO.

To bad about the E brake failure. But the back of the jeep looks cool! Reminds me of a Stealth fighter thing going on? I like it ;-) E brake fixed now? Happy New Year

Not really fixed I just do not leave it in neutral and running now! I also carry a chock around. Low tech and effective. Looks like the PO dropped it hard in the back - either lost a wheel or something bad- because I found the backing plate is flattened so it lets junk in to the drums ...wanna do the ford 8.8 swap to discs so am just dealing with it for now.

That thing is a monster. Upgraded axles I am guessing. Read the "hulk smash" build thread with 40" tires on the d44 and it lasted one wheeling trip lol.

Just sleeved & gusseted and rear geared, mostly do camping, fishing etc. Light wheeling not to crazy. I told myself if I broke the 44s I would up grade to 60s. So I better not break them! lol ;-)

I've been on 40's with the dana 44's for a year now. It's all in how you wheel it.

So true, the guy who bought my 37's was telling me. On his wheeling rig he has destroyed two front 60's, a rear 70 and a 14 bolt. He is only running 44's
