Stained Soft Top

This thread is for any one who gives 2 cents if there top gets stained. I found it on another forum.
I have the black diamond fabric soft top material. My Bestop upper sliders have the same material as well. I bought some of that Turtle Wax Ice clear liquid. They claim you can apply it to the entire vehicle with no white residue. Well I have been doing that but decided to try it on a small section of my soft top. It has a rain-x effect. water beads on it and runs off just like it does off the painted areas. eventually I applied it to the entire top. I live down a muddy red clay road. When its dry its just like driving on pavement but when it rains for days it gets slick and nasty muddy. Red clay stains really bad. I got a bunch of it on my top yesterday after several trips down this road. When I got home I simply sprayed it off with a garden hose, the dirt and water just rolled right off and my top looked brand new again. No soap. no scrubbing. amazing!!!!

I do not know how this would work on a khaki top or gray. It does not appear to change the color of the black top. after I apply it and let it dry the top appears to have a black satin sheen to it. Looks really pretty in the sunlight too. It does not appear to change the color of the top at all.

so if you are tired of scrubbing to get stains out, this should solve the problem and save you money because you don't have to buy several different products. This is truly a multi-purpose product. hope this comes in handy for you.
