I donlt have any experience anywhere else but Nik and Bobby did a great job on my gear install, not to mention had great customer service. I started replacing the broken pinion myself, and when I realized that I just wasn't 100% comfortable, I towed it to their shop and they hooked me up. Been driving the beast all week with out issues

Scouting and Exploration Fun Run

Scouting and Exploration Fun Run on Saturday Nov 12th, 2011. We will gather at the Chevron that is at Mile Marker 15 off SR14 in Camas/Washougal Washington. This fun run is gravel roads, steep climbs, and small rock crawling. However low clearance wranglers are welcome and will do just fine.

A Washington “Discover Pass” and “NW Forest Pass is “required” where posted. I recommended that you have them in case we enter areas that they are required to have.

We will drive east on SR14 and scout the areas north of Bonneville Dam, Beacon Rock and Stevenson, Washington. The plan is to explore the Aldrich Butte, Three Corner Rock, and Greenleaf Peak areas. Of course that depends on time and how many vehicles show up.

Bring water, food, money, and dress for the changing weather.

Gather at 09:30am
Depart at 10:00 am
Chevron Gas Station
Jimbo’s Deli Mart East
165 C St Washougal, WA 98671

Hi, somewhat new here. Been checking out the site for awhile now and I am interested in joining you on the run on Sat. if you don't mind. Where is a good place to get the discover and nw pass and how much are they?

Also hope to make it to the GTG.

Thanks

I picked up the Washington Discover pass at a Fred Meyer in Beaverton--I bought the annual pass (I think for $35). I usually get the NW Forest Pass at REI ($30 annual--I think you can get a one day pass for $5, not sure about that).

Hope you can make it out on Saturday! We had a great time on the run a few weeks ago.

Hey guys... TODAY the voting has started!!! PLEASE go to https://apps.facebook.com/jeepmoment.../954917/null/4 and you will see my story titled "Surviving Portland Ore Zombie Walk" Whoever has the most votes wins a BRAND NEW 2012 Jeep Wrangler. It would mean the WORLD to me if you would read my story and if you like to vote for it. Thanks guys/gals. May have to "allow" the app to work, and may have to register to vote, but again if you would do so for me, I would be extremely grateful for it. Thanks again
Oh and see some of you tomorrow at the Hitch'n and the rest on Sunday at the GTG

We made our way up to Three Corner Rock, 3,500 foot level. It was foggy, windy, cold. It was so foggy, when we parked at the base of three corner rock we could not even see the rock.....lol. It was still fun. For those that did not see the rock I have attached two pictures that I took on a clear day on Nov 6th. See it is there.

Snow level is coming down.

Looks the Snow level will be low on Sunday Morning. Time for a snow run. We will meet at Starbucks in Vancouver that is located at the intersection of NE 18th Street and NE 164th Avenue. Depending on who and how many shows up we will decide where to go. We might try and do a Larch Mt loop or run over to the Columbia River Gorge area off SR14. Snow levels are predicted to be low. Be prepared for the weather.

Starbucks 1900A NE 162nd Ave.
Vancouver, Washington 98684

Gather at 8:00 am
Leave at 8:30 am

It's easy to see why you had a good time after dominating the raffle prizes! Nice choice of the victory dance emoticon.
