There are several people that have weekdays off. Posting up is a great idea! Hopefully someone will be able to tag along. I would but I have school tomorrow.

I would not say FB5 is a safe trail for someone alone. :-) just my opinion. I don't advocate wheeling alone period.

Good luck and have fun!

normally when i do FB5 i do the middle part i guess u can say. i avoid the very bottom/lower part, i tried it once and with out rock sliders i did a little body damage. i am only on a 1.75 budget lift on 33's i have a 3 inch budget but i am still gathering some small stuff before i install it.

while on rocker panel protection and advice on brand and style (ie.wheel well to wheel well, tub or frame mounted, step bar) any thoughts would be great

I"m running good old fashion nerf bars LOL so far they have held up pretty well, but they came with the jeep. Once they have out lived their use fullness I think i'm going to have Jameslee and our buddy Rick make me a custom set. But that will be way down the road LOL i'm sure the other guys will have more helpful info on brands and type :-)

Yup. Also $15 for spray on bed liner if you want that look. I like it and it's pretty scratch resistant.

home made seems to be better, i found a guy on craigs list said about 350 to make them for wheel well to wheel well with a bar, im trying to get functionality for the lowest price im not sure what amout of protection is really needed, i know i want to go to the bottom of the door and a decent amount of protection underneath

thought about buiying angle iron and a die grinder

I won't be able to make this month's GTG - have two functions to attend in Corvallis that day. See you on the next trail run or GTG, whichever comes first.
