Three Corner Rock Cruise - Washington

We are going to drive to Three Corner Rock where the bear grass is in blooming. The weather is looking like it ‘should be’ and nice sunny day. From there we have a trail to explore. After that we can run some of the power line trails that have 25% grades.

This scenic cruise is for all wranglers stock and or modified.
We will gather at the Chevron that is just off SR14 in Washougal Washington. From there we will drive SR14 east to Beacon Rock State Park, about 20 miles, where we will turn north and drive about 11 miles to Three Corner Rock and the surrounding area.

Have a full tank for fuel, bring water, food, money, and dress for the changing weather. Even on a hot day it can still be colder and windy at Three Corner Rock as the elevation is 3,500 feet.

Gather at 09:30am
Depart at 10:00 am
Chevron Gas Station
Jimbo’s Deli Mart East
165 C St Washougal, WA 98671

DIRECTIONS TO THE MEETING PLACE

From I-5 and/or I-205 in Washington drive eastbound on SR14 towards Camas/Washougal Washington.

Take Exit 14 (500 West / Union St / 2nd St). (You’ll have two options)

1) Drive to the first roundabout and continue east on Front Street, at the second roundabout go north passing under the freeway. You will see the Chevron looking to your left. Go around that roundabout and then the Chevron will be on your right.
2) Drive to the first roundabout and go north under the freeway, turn east at the second roundabout and continue on SE 8th Ave it will turn into C street, Chevron will be on your left.

2nd Annual No Roads Required Off-Road Show

This is the 2nd Annual Fast Specialties Off-Road Show "No Roads Required" with the proceeds going to the Yacolt Burn Project.

Date: Saturday, September 14th, 2013

Meeting Time: 11:00am
Depart Time: 11:30am

Meeting Location:
Starbucks
7720 N.E. Highway 99
Vancouver, WA 98665

Please bring your own chairs, and water (4 1/2 hours is a lot of walking around time). You are also welcome to bring a popup shade cover.

This years event will be bigger than last years and is open to all Off-Road Vehicles . There will be lots of cool stuff with all of the proceeds going to the Yacolt Burn Project in SW Washington to open more trails.

This is a great event for a great cause. There will be many sponsors this year bringing their products. They are asking for a $10 donation this year, but it all goes to the Yacolt Burn Project in SW Washington and they are going to provide food, music, and many chances to win stuff. You won't be disappointed. (The donation is not required, but they would sure appreciate the help with this upcoming ORV area.)

I have been looking forward to this since you posted it. But yesterday on my way to work Jolene started making a strange thwaping noise. Turns out she needs her drive line replaced and it wont be done until next week. They said I could drive her but not go highway speeds. The only way to get anywhere is via highway. So, a few tears later, I'm out.

I really wish I could go. I needed a run, it's been one hell of a work week. I look forward to the next one!

Good morning crawlers, please if you don't mind, I would love to be a part of the NW Oregon group. I've only been in Oregon for a few days now but, am loving it and really have no desire to leave. Definitely interested in a Tillamook run come July if it happens, as that is where I have landed. By the way, does anybody have the wranglerforum app on their phone? I am not much for the internet so I am hoping the app will alert me if something comes up.

Maybe dumb question but isn't 5:00 too early to watch movies outdoors what with the daylight and all? How's it going to work?
