I'll have to check with the wife to see if we have plans for Saturday. Think a stock 2 door rubi would have any problems?

I want to go but I've already committed to a birthday party that Saturday . It does look like a great run, especially with firebreak five .

Scratch the above, I'm in for this coming Saturday .

Just for clarification, banks316 - you're going to be at the browns staging area and NOT the Rogers staging day use area (that is closer to the entrance of hwy 6), yes?

Yes the browns camp day use area, as for a stock rubi should be ok if there's areas you don't want to do you can drive around.

Gents: I'll be making it "someday" but the Boss has already planned my next 3 week ends...end of season out door chores to a dismal gardening season, plus recovery from a major home remodeling project. Plus a trip out of state. Still....ONE of these days I'll get up that way. I'm about a 5 hour drive each way from Astoria so it has to be an overnight trip for me. Pretty difficult to arrange.

Cool! I'll keep the logging roads in mind for a last resort.
I have 35" BFG KM2 on order, but they won't make it in 'til next week

In Oregon state forest you need to have on you a 2.5 lb fire extinguisher or 1 gallon of water. As well as a shovel..

If you guys see this before you go.

If you happen to drive by the shooting range let me know if it is open or not. Thanks!

I didn't notice if it was open or not, but I didn't have cell service to post back most of the trip either...

Was a fun run. Thanks again Chris for being the guide. And thanks to Chris, Ken, and Tom... If it wasn't for their eyes spotting I wouldn't have made it on that one trail (forgot the name, but its the one that the decked out JK on a coil over lift couldn't make it).

I had a blast and can't wait to see some of the photo's and video!
