Meetup 9am Sharis in Troutdale, Or exit 17 off I-84.
Heading to Mosier between Hood River/TheDalles then taking forest service unimproved at times, rough roads towards Parkdale, Or and a short lunch and then up to Mt. Defiance which is rough roads as well. I was going camping but plans changed. Sorry for the short notice.
There are sections that have some rocks, that is for sure tougher then the easy trails at TSF.. But they are doable in a stock Jeep. With that said I did it last year with a stock LJ on 31's. On the climb to Mt. Defiance I did hit the skidplates a few times but I knew this was going to happen, and took my time with no damage at all.
So in "small" parts, some of it I feel 4lo or 2lo (if equipped) is a good choice.

I'm thinking about going to Browns Camp instead tomorrow....since it seems to have a little more difficult terrain (and it's closer for me)...I want to test my lockers. message me if interested in joining

Oh Yeah, August 25th.. my bad lol.. maybe a moderator could change the month...
As far as using a locker @ TSF good luck... unless it is something you "don't" want to try. Like The crushers, mini rubicon, Airplane hill, and a few others.. Being so dry it's really not even needed. But you will save some gas living on the west side of town going to TSF.. Getting back to town sooner is an option when we get to Parkdale, you could decide to head south on hwy 35 over to hwy 26 to Sandy if time is important to you.
