This Saturday (11/24) TSF Run

Good morning everyone -

I am planning a Tofurkey run this coming weekend in TSF. I am thinking either All of Archer's, or a combination of Cedar Tree/FB5 (if open), Powerline, etc.

Everyone must be running at least a 40" tire, 6" coil lift, have a RIPP supercharger, and sorry, it is only open to two door Wranglers. I am kidding.

I am thinking we meet at N Plains Deli at 0830.

Thoughts??

Scott

I'd be up for it, but Cedar Tree might be above my Jeeps capabilities. Sorry.

No worries! We'll have plenty of winches to go around.

We can do whatever....

If I remember, the hardest part on Cedar was the "rooted hill of death." I heard it has been fixed, but after a Summer/Fall of tires up there I have no idea what it looks like.

I am leaning toward Archer's for this run....I have a vendetta with Rocky Uphill.

There aren't any hard sections on Cedar Tree. Rocky Uphill is a mess since it turned muddy. I'm sure all the water holes on Archers are full though. Lol

Count me in!

Hey fellas, I was looking for some peeps to head out Saturday as well on the main NW Oregon/Washington page and stumbled across this invite for peeps on 11/24. Hope I am not crashing the party. When you guys say meet up in North Plains at 8:30, where exactly? I am assuming it's the exit where there's a McDonalds and Chevron off the US26 exit? What channel shall we be using on the CB so we can play Marco Polo if we have to?
I took a look at the Tillamook Trail Report, looks like Saddle Up, University Firepower, and the initial start of Archers (28i and 28j) are closed. But then again, that part of Archers has been closed for a while. I'd like to check out Rocky Uphill too, but may bypass Waterfall and Can Opener too. Sounds like others may be taking the "Tillamook OHV a la carte" approach too. "Uhhh...waiter, I'll take the Cedar Tree for starters with Firebreak 5, followed by Archers for dessert?"

Just let me know and hope to see you fellas soon-

Your not crashing a party. Your part of it now. Only catch is, You have to bring the alcohol! Just Kidding. We normally meet at the Deli to the East of McDonalds. We will probably wait around for a bit to make sure everyone that said they'd be there arrive. We usually choose CB channel once we are together. Come join the fun!

The Deli is the other Gas station. Immediately to the right as you exit Hwy 26.

We can get through on I and J. We were up there a couple weeks ago and they were both passable.
