Latest Head Count

Okay, so the latest head count is as follows:

Plan to attend:

MojoMark
skjeeper
Island TJ
Agaard
RVKillian
Rusty 1
IceMan
Electricfoot
Kaines05tj

And Maybe:

Rubydak
kd0dua

What about the "mystery (ford) ranger" are they coming along? Are you going too Cold? Just checking, please update as the week goes by so we have an idea who wants to go. I think we are near the "break point" to possibly split into two groups Saturday AM. We can finally decide at the Chevron Saturday AM. See you all then

can't wait

I am back and forth.. Most likely no. I am trying to squeeze all the mods in that I haven't had time for into the next two weekends before the trip to Tahuya.

I talked to the Ford Ranger guy and he seemed hesitant. All those peering Jeeper eyes glaring intensely must give him the willy's If he cowboys up then I am in otherwise I am out.

Looks like bdr529 broke the bank and made rig number 10. With that, we should have enough for two groups but we will see who finally shows Saturday AM. We will need a volunteer for leader/tailgunner for group two but again, we can figure that out Saturday AM.

Let's meet in back of the Chevron so we don't clog their business in the front at plan on leaving the lot by 0830.

For those who can't make it, no big deal, at this rate it looks like we are averaging a run a month.

See you all then

LOL, okay, he/she is more than welcome Jeep or no Jeep in my book, and so are you. Have fun with the Tahuya run, I REALLY wanna go on that one, but I may have to work that day....ugh.

Looking forward to this Saturday

You know, for me, one of the advantages of having a crummy week at work is that weekends like this will be appreciated even more. See you all this Saturday.

Looking forward to some "4-wheeling therapy".

Exclamation Urgent Announcement

Important Announcement About 3-2-13 TSF Run

Hey fellas, I have a personal problem that just came up that may keep me from my own run- what a drag. I will certainly try and make it to the Chevron that morning since I hosted this run, but if you don't see me, please move on ahead without me. Would someone else feel comfortable leading the run? I think I will have a better idea by Friday afternoon what is going on with my little issue in my life. If I can't make it, please don't forget to pick up agaard on the way out. I think I said we will be on CB channel 2 (the day of the month). I cannot emphasize how sorry I am for shafting all of you if I am not there.

Sorry fellas, keep it real with or without me.

I was really hoping I would be able to pop in on todays run. I was let down. Had to work. I do however so far have sunday the 3rd off. I have a stock Sahara with stock tires. I would really like to go up and try the easier trails. Can any of you recommend some of the trails that a stock Jeep can run? I am hoping to convince my friend to go with. If not I will have to wait.
Thank you

Jeepin' is a dirty business...

We ran Archers, Hog's Back, Hoodraiser, and parts of Powerline. A great day out.

Thanks to Ken (IslandTJ) who led us around and didn't get us lost.

Sounds like a great time. Would these runs be appropriate for someone with little 4x experience? Love to tag along sometime

Thanks again Ken. Great run, had a blast. Was fun to try a few of the more technical areas. Getting pretty confident in my Jeep.

My apologies again fellas

Hey fellas, looks like you guys had a good time Saturday. Interestingly enough, those were the same trails I was going to lead everyone to, Archers, Hogs Back, and Hoodraiser. Glad to see you all made it out there.

Again, I can't emphasize how sorry I am for not making it, esp. since I posted it. Without going into too much detail, there's always challenges in life, some of which can be more difficult than others, and I seem to be stuck with one of those challenges right now. (And no, lockers or 35" tires will not help me get unstuck this time)

I hope to be back out on the trails soon, I will certainly make it up to you guys. In the meanwhile, keep having fun and best wishes. Not sure yet if I will make the March 10 meeting, but we'll see.

btw, were you guys able to pick up Agaard? Just wanted to make sure he met up with you guys.

Yup, while we were at the Gales Creek Shell station, RVKillian went ahead of the group to meetup and let him know we would be on our way.
