The only damage sustained, were the scratches on the rocker panel guards .

I should be available next weekend. And be happy with the 8.8, it's better than replacing axles everytime.

Fyi, I've seen many axle shafts be the reason why the seals are leaking.
The 8.8 axle shafts have been known to wear a groove over time where the seals ride. Just something to check closely so you won't have to do it again later We have two older first gen TTB Explorer's in the family, and Momma's has an ARB and a full detroit in it..
My old YJ had an 8.8 in it as well.

I dont have an 8.8 just the disc brakes. Im running a dana 44 in the rear. The way its set up the disc brake plate doesnt press the wheel seal in tight enough and oil leaks out. Thought i fixed that by adding a shimm plate to press the seal in but after few months of abuse it just tore the seal up. That in turn put metal shavings in the bearing.

Well i was up till midnight but got her fininshed.

So the problem was the the plate that holds the wheel seal didnt press it in enough cause of the thickness of the new disc brake backing plate. So heres what i did. Found a 2" electrical conduit nut cut it down and put it befor the backing plate.

Here you can see how it all comes together.

Hope this fix does the trick or I go back to drums

So, would you guys stay that:

Hogs Back, Saddle Up, 7-Up (Easy/Moderate Part), and Bates Road would be fine for a stock JK or JKU?

Chris knows the names of the trails we did, but I did every trail Chris led us to in a totally stock JK Rubi. With decent tires I don't see why a stock JK or JKU wouldn't make it. Siffriver in his JKU rubi had to do a couple multi point turns on some of the tighter trails.
