Awesome run today, we ended up doing the powerlines leading to trail 13, back tracked abit did trail 14. On our way to hoggs back (18) ran in to some traffic so we did trail 16a then 17 before heading to trail 18. Then ran the powerlines back to browns camp. Mahalo to banks316, for taking point.

I had a blast! It was nice to meet and wheel with everyone. No damage and no one even took a bypass today - awesome wheeling!

Looks like a perfect day! Not raining to much the sun came out and the trails where damp enough to keep the dust down :-)

Wish we could have made it. sigh

What was interesting, is that I normally take the right line (where you're closer to the "rock of doom"), as that line does give a bit of a technical challenge compared to the left (that you see on the video). However, right before I took my turn, a well built Jeep Wrangler JK on front coil-overs , tried taking the left line and had so much difficulty, that ultimately he couldn't make it up the left side. The JK had to reverse and switch lines, and he finally made it up the right side.

Our group, which included a stock Jeep or two - all made it up the left side .

I believe banks316, opted not to even try the left and he just crawled around the right side without issue and without engaging his lockers .

For some of us, this was their first time up Firebreak Five, and all made through the technical sections without requiring a winch or snatch, and none opted to bypass. We all even came down Saddle Up, which was quite the experience too .

Hats off and kudos to the stock Jeeps that did quite well on this run! It was entertaining and I look forward to future wheeling trips with the group .

Funny thing that group was talking smack, and after IslandTj did his run they got pissed and left.

I stand corrected, both banks316 and siffriver made it up the right side...

Nope I got it. I have a pretty slow Internet connection so it's taking me longer than I'd like. I'll try and get it tonight.
